DIY Drop Camp/Hunt
Drop camp on 280 acres in Colorado Unit 62 that borders 30,000 + acres of Uncompahgre National Forest. Plentiful elk, deer and bear.
Unit 62 is a draw unit for archery elk for non-residents but OTC for residents. Deer tags are also by the draw process for both residents and non-residents.
Property is excellent to ride-out on horseback or hike. Hunting stands are set up on property with comfortable hunting chairs. ATV/UTV travel off-property to access the National Forest. There are deer that use this property almost every day and elk/bear pass through as well.
Complete drop camp set up, outfitter tent is clean and comfortable, sleeps 4-6 on XL cots without being crowded, wood stove for heat, propane stove for cooking. We primarily hunt using ATV’s on the National Forest trails and we use this property as a base camp. Property has game poles and an outhouse, fire ring and wood chopped and ready for a warm cozy campfire.
Offering a weekly lease (5 days) for up to 4 hunters - $1125 per person. A camp trailer setup is also available if you would rather not stay in an outfitters tent. Preference given to hunters looking for long term, year-after-year rental arrangement. 8200 feet elevation, behind locked gate. NO BROKERS - PRINCIPLES ONLY.
